Dear Researchers in Integrated Pest Management,

The Pest Management Centre compiles the Pest Management Research Report (PMRR) for the Canadian Phytopathological Society (CPS), in conjunction with the Entomological Society of Canada. The PMRR facilitates the exchange of information on Integrated Pest Management (IPM) among persons involved in research and advisory services on IPM of insect pests and plant diseases of importance to the agri-food industry in Canada.

The PMRR is published annually as a compilation of research reports by federal and provincial government, university and industry research and advisory personnel. These reports aid the development of recommendations for insect and disease management programs throughout Canada. They report on all aspects of pest management, including cultivar and management responses, and are available to support the registration of pest control products. The PMRR is published only in electronic format. The 1995-2020 editions of the PMRR are available on the CPS website for viewing and download at http://phytopath.ca/publication/pmrr/.

Please find attached the invitation to submit research reports for the 2021 edition of the PMRR. Also encourage any of your colleagues who conduct research into IPM to submit research reports.

To help with the online search of an individual report from the 2021 PMRR, a summary page of the report in HTML with major headings and keywords will be published as part of the PDF report. Authors are to provide a major heading and up to three key words for their report. Include this information in the email when you submit your report.

Note there are some changes to the formatting of the report. The changes are in red and bolded in the attached document.

Le Centre de la lutte antiparasitaire élabore le Rapport de recherches sur la lutte dirigée (RRLD) pour la Société canadienne de phytopathologie (SCP), avec le concours de la Société d’entomologie du Canada. Le RRLD facilite l’échange de renseignements sur la lutte antiparasitaire intégrée entre les personnes participant à la recherche et aux services-conseils sur la lutte antiparasitaire intégrée contre les insectes nuisibles et les phytopathologies d’importance pour l’industrie agroalimentaire canadienne.

Le RRLD est publié annuellement sous forme d’une compilation de rapports de recherche effectuée par le personnel des gouvernements fédéral et provinciaux, d’universités, de l’industrie et de services‑conseils. Ces rapports aident à formuler des recommandations pour les programmes de lutte contre les insectes et les maladies au Canada. Ils traitent de tous les aspects de la lutte antiparasitaire, dont les cultivars et les modes de lutte et ils sont disponibles afin d’appuyer l’homologation de produits antiparasitaires. Le RRLD est publié uniquement en version électronique. Les éditions 1995 à 2020 sont disponibles pour consultation et téléchargement sur le site de la SCP à http://phytopath.ca/publication/pmrr/.

Vous trouverez en pièce jointe l’invitation à soumettre des rapports de recherche pour l’édition 2021 du RRLD. Veuillez encourager aussi vos collègues effectuant des recherches sur la lutte antiparasitaire intégrée à soumettre des rapports de recherche.

Pour faciliter la recherche en ligne d’un rapport individuel du RRLD 2021, une page de résumé du rapport en HTML avec les principaux titres et mots clés sera publiée dans le cadre du rapport PDF. Les auteurs doivent fournir un titre principal et jusqu’à trois mots clés pour leur rapport. Incluez ces informations dans l’e-mail lorsque vous soumettez votre rapport.

Notez que certains changements ont été apportés au formatage du rapport. Les changements sont en rouge et en gras dans le document ci-joint.
