In 2019, CPS’ Annual Meeting will be integrated into a meeting organized by Plant Canada which represent seven plant science organizations in Canada.
The meeting will be held at University of Guelph ON from Sunday July 7 to Wednesday July 10, 2019.
Preliminary program
Sunday July 7: Field tours 9 AM to 5 PM. Keynote address 7 PM by Dan Riskin co-host of CBC Daily Plant.
Monday July 8: Plenary session in the morning and concurrent sessions in the afternoon. First Poster session. CPS Student Social. President’s Reception by invitation.
Tuesday July 9: Plenary session in the morning and concurrent sessions in the afternoon. CPS AGM during lunch hour. Second Poster session. CPS Awards Dinner and 90th Celebration (Delta Hotel).
Wednesday July 10: Plenary sessions in the morning and afternoon. PC Banquet dinner.
Key Dates:
May 17th: Abstracts due for oral presentation consideration
May 30th: Early bird registration date
June 14th: Poster abstracts due
