Troubleshooting CPDS Index


1. CPDSindex does not launch and gives "a server error".
Solution: Make sure you are not trying to run two instances of the program. If the problem persists, go the folder where the program is located, delete the following files and run the program again:
       FFALIAS.ff2, FFInfo.ff2 and FFSTran.CFG
Upon launching, CPDSIndex will recreate these files.

2. Acrobat does not open the file at the correct page.
Solution: make sure that Acrobat is configured to open within a window of Explorer. To set it up, go to "Programs" and launch Acrobat (assuming you have it installed). Go to "Edit|Preferences" and select "Internet". Check the box titled "Display PDF in Browser". Click OK to exit.

3. I cannot install the program
Solution: Make sure you have the proper administrative rights.
